What is Premium Membership?

Premium Membership is an annual subscription that gives you unlimited access to With Premium Membership, you can:

• Add links to your websites in your signature to add credibility to your posts and give users a fast and easy way to access your business.
• Post adverts every five days in our Marketplace forum.
• Request for feedback and reviews of your websites such as help identifying bugs and testing functionality to ensure your site works correctly across different screens and browsers.
• Post queries to the private Premium Membership forum. Useful if you don’t want the content to be indexed by Google.

How do I become a Premium Member?

If you don’t already have an account on FH, you’ll need to register first which should only take a couple of minutes – head to our registration page via the login/Sign up tab at the top of the page.

Once signed up, hit Subscribe on the Membership page. You’ll be taken through to PayPal, our trusted payment processor, where you’ll be able to make the £30 payment. Your subscription will automatically renew each year, so you’ll only have to complete this process once. Is your payment gateway secure?

Yes – all of our Premium Membership payments go through PayPal. That means that we (HostXNow, the company behind Forums.Hosting) won’t receive or handle any sensitive financial information. When you pay with PayPal, you’ll also automatically receive PayPal Purchase Protection. If we’ve sold you an item that isn’t as described, PayPal can help you to get a refund.

How long does it take to process my Premium Membership?

The account upgrade will be complete as soon as your payment has processed. The upgrade usually only takes a couple of minutes.

One important thing to note: if you’ve made fewer than 30 posts, our spam filter may still prevent you from posting any links. Don’t worry; there’s an easy way around this – send our administrator FHCL a quick message. He’ll be able to update your account so you can get started right away.

Can I buy Premium Membership for a single year?

Yes! If you’d prefer to buy a year’s membership (rather than starting a recurring subscription), you can cancel your subscription at any point in your first year stopping any future payments from being taken, and automatically reset your account back to a free account when the year is up.

To cancel your subscription:

1. Log into your PayPal account, and go to Profile and Settings in the top right-hand corner.
2. Select My money on the left side of the page.
3. In the My preapproved payments section, click Update.
4. Select the seller whose agreement you want to cancel (for your membership, it will be HostXNow) and click Cancel.
5. Click Cancel Profile to confirm.

Can I get a refund on my Premium Membership?

Yes. If you sign up and then change your mind, send a private message to our administrator FHCL. You’ll need to mention the email address registered to PayPal, the approximate date of purchase and the reason you’d like a refund.

Unfortunately, we can’t issue refunds once you’ve used one or more of our Premium Membership benefits (for example, you’ve posted an advert or received website reviews)
